The Glam Slam Backpack from Maison Margiela is a softly structured silhouette defined by quilted volume and tactile comfort. Rounded proportions and a padded form create a composed profile that balances utility with sculptural presence.

Crafted in Italy from quilted nappa calfskin leather with a smooth, supple handfeel. The design features a top handle, double-slider zip closure, and a detachable chain shoulder strap with leather inserts for multi-wear styling. Functional details include a flat pocket at the back, an internal flat pocket, and polished metal hardware. A contrasting embroidered numeric logo label at the front anchors the design in the house’s visual language.

Introduced during the SS18 runway, the Glam Slam reflects Maison Margiela’s concept of unconscious glamour, drawing on ideas of comfort, travel, and modern ritual.
