The Japanese Bag Small by MM6 Maison Margiela is an icon defined by form and concept. First introduced in the Autumn–Winter 2009 collection, the design reimagines the everyday tote through origami-inspired folds, resulting in a sculptural, triangular silhouette that shifts with use.
Crafted from durable polyurethane with leather contrast details, the bag features press-stud buttons at the corners, allowing the shape to be folded and transformed. Top handles and an embossed logo detail add subtle structure, while the cotton-lined interior keeps the construction grounded and functional. At the back, the Maison’s signature horizontal white stitch line marks its deconstructive heritage.
