The Premium Old Skool 36 Shoes from Vans are crafted in a combination of screenprinted canvas and cow suede, revisiting one of the brand's most recognizable skateboarding silhouettes. Originally introduced in 1977 as Style 36, the design was the first Vans shoe to feature the iconic Sidestripe™, also known as the Jazz Stripe. The low-top construction retains its archival character, while detailed stitching and higher, gloss-finished sidewalls introduce a refined interpretation of the original design.
Constructed from substantial 226-gram canvas and supple suede, the shoes feature a padded collar with full-grain leather lining for enhanced comfort. Reinforced foxing tape references original 1990s Osnaburg construction, while the signature rubber outsole maintains the silhouette's skateboarding heritage. Sola Foam All-Day-Comfort cushioning provides anti-fatigue support and incorporates 30% bio-based material, balancing traditional construction with contemporary functionality.
