Design with Purpose and Precision
The name Code38 references both dress code and the moment of arrival—the designer’s age when the final concept was realized. Designed by a trained aircraft instrumentation engineer, the wine knife was developed with the same rigor applied to aerospace and medical equipment. Every line, angle, and mechanism serves clarity, balance, and intuitive use.
Engineering Meets Craft
Rejecting mass-production methods, Code38 is manufactured using metal injection moulding, a process typically reserved for Swiss watchmaking and high-performance engineering. This ensures exceptional precision, durability, and tactile quality. Each piece is hand-finished, emphasizing craftsmanship over volume.
A Professional’s Choice
Adopted by leading sommeliers and restaurateurs worldwide, Code38 has become a trusted tool within professional wine service. Its reputation was cemented early through critical recognition, including coverage by The New York Times, positioning the brand on a global stage.
