The 3XL Gradient Sneaker from Balenciaga is an exaggerated low-top silhouette defined by amplified volume and layered construction. Built with a deliberately oversized profile, the design explores distortion and proportion through a technical lens. Presented in Black, Grey, and White, the gradient palette enhances the dimensionality of the upper while reinforcing its industrial character.
Constructed from mesh with polyurethane and polyester overlays, the sneaker delivers a lightweight yet structured feel. A worn-out effect introduces depth and a pre-distressed finish, while embossed size markings appear on the upper and heel as part of the design language. Branding is integrated through a Balenciaga logo at the edge of the toe and back, alongside 3XL rubber branding on the tongue with reflective detailing. Pull tabs at the back and tongue support ease of wear, and an additional pair of laces is included. The rubber and EVA sole grounds the silhouette with cushioning and durability.
Founded in Paris, Balenciaga continues to redefine contemporary footwear through exaggerated forms and experimental construction. The house merges technical fabrication with conceptual design, challenging conventional sneaker codes.
