The City 45mm Mules from Balenciaga reinterpret a pointed mule through sharp proportions and hardware drawn from the house’s City codes. Crafted in black shiny soft calfskin, the silhouette features a deep V-shaped vamp that creates an elongated, graphic profile across the foot. Gold-tone ABS studs and buckles punctuate the polished leather, while the tonal covered heel maintains the streamlined monochromatic construction.
The open-back silhouette is set on a 45 mm arch for subtle elevation, balancing the sharply pointed toe with a low, sculpted profile. A grey lambskin insole is finished with the Balenciaga Paris logo, while the beige suede-effect calfskin sole provides a contrasting finish beneath the shoe. The combination of supple leather and prominent hardware brings a tactile edge to the otherwise pared-back construction.
