A deep commitment to sustainability

Shoreditch Ski Club is deeply committed to sustainability and incorporates eco-friendly practices into its entire range of products. Here's a breakdown of their sustainability initiatives:

All Shoreditch Ski Club's puffer and bomber jackets are crafted using either partially or 100% recycled fibers.

The recycled fabrics used in their jackets are GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified, ensuring the highest standards of recycled materials.

The mills affiliated with Shoreditch Ski Club are OEKO-TEX® certified, ensuring that the textiles are free from harmful substances.

The brand utilizes featherless eco-down filling made from 100% recycled fibers derived from post-consumer plastic bottles.

This eco-down filling is GRS (Global Recycled Standard), OEKO-TEX® certified, and Bluesign approved, highlighting their commitment to environmental and safety standards.

The labels jersey and swimwear materials are either recycled polyamide nylon yarns, OCS certified/GOTS organic cotton or sustainable techno-fabric ECONYL®, regenerated nylon that is knitted into "Vita by Carvico," a revolutionary recycled fiber tricot fabric, always finished with water-resistant hardware similar to what is used in their puffer jackets, maintaining a commitment to quality and durability.

Shoreditch Ski Club sources its leather from tanneries in Norway, Spain, and India, all of which adhere to Gold (LWG) standards.

The leather they use is a by-product of the meat and dairy industry, aligning with the #NOTFARMEDFORFASHION movement. The Leather Working Group (LWG) standards, a comprehensive industry organization, are followed, ensuring traceability and environmental responsibility.

Recycled Leather - Shoreditch Ski Club introduces a new super material, recycled leather, composed of at least 60% recycled natural leather fibers from post-manufacturing offcuts to reduce landfills.

For their iconic Shearling Jackets, the brand sourced their materials from Iceland, Ireland, Italy, and Spain and originated from Gold, Silver, and Bronze (LWG) standard tanneries.

These shearlings are a by-product of the meat and dairy industry and align with the #NOTFARMEDFORFASHION movement.

To finish, all hardware like branded zips is produced by YKK in Turkey, a company certified for meeting ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OEKO-TEX® standard 100, and Bluesign standards. This ensures responsible chemical management and the elimination of hazardous chemicals in their products.

Shoreditch Ski Club's dedication to sustainability extends throughout its product line, encompassing materials, sourcing, and manufacturing processes while adhering to industry-leading environmental and ethical practices standards. The brand closely collaborates with its suppliers to uphold these ethical principles.
