From hairdresser to entrepreneur

Patricks is not just a brand – it is a history worth knowing. Patricks took seven years to build, and the idea of the Australian hair- and skincare brand came up because the owner and director, Patrick himself, was missing styling products that would work 100%. Therefore, he created Patricks. First, however, he had to learn about finance, as he was working at his own hair salon at the time and did not have the capital required to start up a brand from scratch.

”Pain in the arse”

Patrick wanted to make products that were good to the hair, and their formulas should build on science, not intuition. Therefore, after getting his first investor, he hired the best chemists available, and they started to test and combine the product ingredients. Patrick has said that during this process, he was a bit of a “pain in the arse” to his suppliers, because he did not want to settle or compromise. All of the Patricks products contain active and natural ingredients that help nourishing the hair in different ways. Patricks’ shampoo, conditioner and skincare contain anti-inflammatory ingredients, antioxidants and vitamins. All the products are 100% vegan, and none of them contain sulfates or other cruel ingredients.
